5 days Zanzibar safari is a tour which will be done on the island of Zanzibar where you will engage in different activities. Zanzibar is an archipelago which is found on the Indian ocean. The island is a famous tourist destination of Tanzania which has white sand beaches and also turquoise waters, different beaches are found on the island.
You will engage in a stone town tour, visit different places on the island, visit Jozani forest, engage in a spice tour and visit the plantations on the island. During the 5 days Zanzibar safari, you will also visit Nungwi beach.
After your 5 days Zanzibar safari you will return to the airport for your flight back home which will bring the tour to an end.
Day 1: Safari to Zanzibar
Your guide will pick you up from the airport in Zanzibar for those who fly direcct to zanzibar and for those who will fly to Tanzania youll be picked up from Dar es salaam Airport then transferd to Zanzibar via Safari boats, upon arrival on the tropical island on the 1st day of your safari. You will be transferred to your hotel in Stone town for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 2: Zanzibar Stone town
After breakfast at your hotel, you will spend a full day exploring the historical Stone Town. You will visit the different places around Stone town and get to see the architectural gems, local restaurants, churches, and markets. There are plenty of many other places to visit while on the island on a city tour, like the House of Wonders, Darajani market place, Sultan’s Palace and the Slave Market.
Day 3: Zanzibar spice tour
On the 3rd day of your Zanzibar tour, you will have breakfast as you prepare for a spice tour. You will enjoy a walk through the villages and spice plantations where pepper, cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, vanilla among others as you visit the spice plantations in the company of a local guide.
Your guide will tell you about the different spices and also explain how the plants grow and their different uses. You will also have a tour to Jozani Forest which is home to the rare red colobus monkeys. The forest is an indigenous forest on Zanzibar island with impressive mangroves and also home to different wildlife species such as monkeys, like the rare red colobus monkeys as well as different tree and plant species. After the Jozani forest tour, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at hotel.
Day 4: Zanzibar Nungwi beach
You will enjoy an experience of relaxing on the beautiful Nungwi Beach. This is one of the best beaches on the island. You will relax and on the beautiful white sandy beaches and turquoise water that gently rolls onto the beach.
You will spend the entire day at Nungwi beach which is found in this northern part of the Zanzibar island. You will engage in different activities while on the beach such as boat rides, scuba diving and snorkeling. After your beach experience on your 5 days Zanzibar safari, you will return to your hotel for dinner and overnight at hotel
Day 5: Departure
On the last day of your 5 days Zanzibar safari, you will have breakfast as your prepare to be driven to the airport for your flight back home which will bring the safari to an end.
