DAY 1: TARANGIRE
Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport. Our airport officer & representative will meet you and assist with your visa/luggage collection then your guide will drive you to your hotel in Arusha for dinner.
DAY 2: ARUSHA-TARANGIRE
Breakfast at the lodge. Check out and drive to Tarangire National Park. On arrival, you will be transferred to Tarangire Tree Lodge. Lunch at the lodge. Enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park and return to the lodge for dinner in the evening.
DAY 3: TARANGIRE
After breakfast, you’ll have a guided morning walking safari in the park. Afterwards, proceed with a game drive and picnic lunch. Back to the camp for dinner and overnight by evening. Tarangire rivals the Serengeti for the size of the game herds that congregate here. Enjoy the activities offered at the camp.
DAY 4: LAKE MANYARA – NGORONGORO
Depart for a morning game drive at Lake Manyara National Park and then back to the camp for your hot lunch. After lunch, drive again to Ngorongoro Conservation Area for the evening crater rim walk and later, check in to your lodge.
DAY 5: NGORONGORO
After your early breakfast today, we will descend 2000 ft. (Over 600metres) to the floor if the crater for a crater tour with picnic lunches. Explore the forest areas that are inhabited by monkeys and elephants. In the lake area, you may see the flamingoes and in the open savannah, you may find the lions hunting for food.
DAY 6: NGORONGORO – CENTRAL SERENGETI
Breakfast at the lodge. Check out and we’ll drive to Olduvai Gorge, Sire Louise and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Continue driving to Serengeti National Park with a picnic lunch along the way. In the afternoon, game drive in Serengeti Central and in the evening, check in to the camp for dinner and overnight.
DAY 7: SERENGETI
Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in the endless plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest, zebras and gazelles or a pride of lions lounging in the shades.
DAY 8: SERONERA (CENTRAL SERENGETI )
Early in the morning, Option(experience the hot air balloon safari in Central Serengeti). After breakfast and champagne, you will have a game drive on route to the lodge for hot lunch and in the afternoon, game drive again in the plains of the Serengeti for a chance to see the great herds of wildebeest and other wild animals. We might get a chance to see some predators hunting.
DAY 9: BACK TO ARUSHA
After breakfast at the lodge, you will have your last morning game drive in the park on route to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled flight to Arusha. Meet one of our officers upon arrival at Arusha Airport and transfer to Arusha Coffee Lodge for lunch. In the evening, transfer to JRO for your outbound flight. Our representative will re-confirm your onward flight and assist you at check-in.
